Gender issues

decoThe HUMABIO project consortium fully supports the Community Framework Strategy on Gender Equality 2001-2005. As far as research and development in biometrics contain gender issues, these issues will be taken into account.

Its purpose is to establish a framework for action within which all Community activities can contribute to attain the goal of eliminating inequalities and promoting equality between women and men, as set out in Article 3(2) of the Treaty.
